science based - What engines would a bioship have?
2015年7月15日 · As I'm trying to go for a more scientifically accurate approach several problems have arisen. The most prominent is the nature of the drive system used, both for the ship and for weapons (missiles and torpedoes). So the questions is what propulsion system could a bioship use, based on current understanding, but not necessarily on current ability.

How the Bio-Ship is steered : r/youngjustice - Reddit
2021年1月23日 · Manual piloting of the bioship seems to require them to be touching the blue orb thingys that I highly suspect to be the ships equivalent of "mental sensors" that can use physical touch as a conduit to the pilot's mind. From there it may read the thoughts, commands, and inclinations of its pilot.
What are the most grounded/plausible examples of a bioship in
2008年1月25日 · For a bioship, engineering-wise, it makes the most sense to have organic machinery, instead of the ship itself being an actual separate life-form. A ship is a vehicle, a tool, something that is used, and is subject to wear and tear, replacements and upgrades. It is so much easier and faster to swap out a part than rely on healing and growing.
Can beast boy become bioship? : r/youngjustice - Reddit
2022年7月13日 · But a bioship doesn't have a set form, it's basically shapeshifting psychic slime. It's too far out of the realm of understanding, even compared to his Martian sister. He would probably need to see one under a microscope to have any chance, possibly study one after death, but due to their innate nature, that might literally be impossible (the ...
Designing a Sci Fi Bioship : r/worldbuilding - Reddit
2021年10月11日 · Okay, okay, so, just spitballing, I don't think a full, 100% bioship is the way to go in a hard sci-fi setting. If you have space magic, that's different, but for hard science, I think something more like a cyborg space ship would be the way to go, ultimately.

Bioship - Weapons : r/worldbuilding - Reddit
2023年3月27日 · The problem that I can think of with lasers or energy weapons is similar to the issue of resources. Regular use of energy weapons would take a lot of power, so the bioship would need to frequently "eat" to recover energy lost to weapon fire. However, I suppose that one solution would be to have the bioship feed off of radiation.
2nd bioship and 1st BH - opening the gates of Hell : r/EvolveIdle
2022年12月26日 · The 2nd bioship isn't that spectacular; I want to do an ent/ant/phoenix run. After that, I'm aiming for Hell, where I got massacred faster than I could train personnel when i stumbled in last week. To do that, I want to add a scorpion run for claws and then something that gives me more oomph or at least survivability (gecko).
General roadmap for efficient progress? : r/EvolveIdle - Reddit
2022年9月19日 · With higher mastery this would be slower than a bioseed because you have to wait for the earthquake event, but at OPs level building the world collider and waiting for the event is apparently faster than building the bioship. I don't know what to call this run without causing confusion but it's a very cool idea for early phage farming.
