It's because of the length and because it doesn't even attempt to act like real hair. At least with the other forms, the hair contorts and bends to its environment. Gohan's hair here is literally a monolith, just one giant solid piece tacked onto his head that moves like a single unit as opposed to what real hair does.

Gohan especially as they tried to cash in on the 'cell SS2 moment' but woefully failed as to why that was such a powerful moment.
