You seem to be missing certain spreads from the Kubo-drawn Bleach manga calendars, which WSJ prints every year. The calendars are mostly made up of spreads that Kubo drew during the last year, but he usually draws a new cover and a few new spreads.

I used to like colored more until my recent reread tbh. B&W is just the better overall experience imo especially for tybw. Colored ruins some of the best shaded panels and just the art overall. 2021年6月2日 · Most manga doesn't get colored, just a few pages or chapters here and there if you're lucky. The weekly release schedule makes it impossible and even for re-releases it's a huge amount of work

2022年1月23日 · Right. Another issue with reading the VIZ Manga is that even the chapters and covers that are supposed to be in color are grayscaled. Chapter 162 being a perfect example. The whole chapter is colored by Kubo and is supposed to be read in color, but in the VIZ manga everything is automatically grayscaled.

I confess I've read the colored version first (not counting the times I've read it ongoing, but the time I reread it again from start to finish later on) and I still really like it, but then in I reread it in black and white, I find that some moments work even better in the original version, or I see something stressed ...
