2023年2月25日 · Blood Axis was an American band formed in 1989 and active until 2016, known for its experimental, folk, martial, neofolk, neoclassical, post-industrial, and spoken word music. The band consisted of Michael Moynihan, Robert Ferbrache, and Annabel Lee.

The first Blood Axis album, The Gospel of Inhumanity (1996), was recorded by Moynihan and Ferbrache in 1995 and its somber, elegant tones and conceptual richness attracted considerable attention in underground art and music scenes in Europe and the United States.

Conceived in the Winter of 1994/95 by Blood Axis. Entirely performed, recorded and engineered at Absinthe Studios (Denver, Colorado). Track 1 recorded at St. Elizabeth's Mental Asylum. Cover based on "Der Krieg" by Franz von Stuck, from a monograph circa 1894. Reissued in 1998 by Elfenblut & Storm and again in 2001 on Storm via Tesco Distribution.
