2018年5月29日 · I had the engine in my A8L blow up in a similar manner as you describe with your R8 V8. They are both 4.2 L, but very different. My engine took out the adjacent cylinder when it went boom. I recommend you make sure the engine can be rebuilt before doing any more work or consider shipping the car/engine .
