Bonacaud is popular as a tourist destination just because of the presence of a bungalow (GB 25) which is believed to be haunted. Now a days, forest dept. does not permit private vehichles beyond the check post near Vazhuvanthol. One can either get a bus from Vithura bus stand or bribe the forest officials at the check post.
