The Boomer Esiason Foundation is a patient advocacy leader for the cystic fibrosis community, fighting to give patients and families a voice.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation’s staff is comprised of individuals with expertise in cystic fibrosis and program development, event planning and fundraising, marketing and communications, and management.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation scholarship program was created in July 2003 to provide financial assistance to students in the cystic fibrosis community who are pursuing higher education opportunities. BEF awards roughly $500,000 in scholarship funds each year.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) was formed soon after Gunnar's diagnosis to fund research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
