Dec 2, 2007 · Return the Bose AM5 and have a listen to the Bose Companion 3 - I was in the same situation and replaced the AM5 with the companion3-good sound. There is also a new bose Cinemate which maybe worth a look. Regards, Horse39

Oct 2, 2009 · Managed to pick up a cheap Bose Acoustimass 10 iii. Looking for an AV receiver to power speakers. Guy at Richer Sounds says I'm better going for the new Onkyo TX-SR308 as it has 1.4 HDMI and selling for £250. Worried about the Omhs on the bose, it says from 4 to 8 ohms and the amp is 6 to 16 ohms.
