2009年6月27日 · According to the promotional verbiage the Boss FT-2 is an auto wah pedal that fits into the company’s line of auto wahs between the TW-1 and the AW-2. I think this is a little misleading because in essence the Boss FT-2 is an envelope filter and produces quite a different effect than an auto wah.

2007年8月22日 · Any FT-2 users out there? my findings (for the sake of it).. i was looking for an unusual filter effect, something a little out of the ordinary but i'm disappointed that it doesn't do that envelope filter 'folding in on itself' kind of sound. it just sort of opens up or down, depending on the mode, in a really fast vocal kind of way.

The FT-2 is an Auto Wah pedal that fits into Boss line of Auto Wah’s between the TW-1 and the AW-2. The cutoff frequency knob sets the central frequency and gives the FT-2 more active control that goes a step beyond other Auto Wah’s. In Manual mode, the unit has EQ-like capabilities for creating tonal effects with a specific frequency.

The FT-2 is the successor to the Touch Wah (T-Wah), an auto-wah from the '80s! It has a filter-like changeable sound rather than a conventional auto-wah. It has four controls: SENS, CUTOFF FREQ, Q, and DOWN/UP, and MANUAL mode. The EXP IN jack allows you to use it like a normal wah pedal by using an expression pedal.
