Boss OD-200 is very disappointing - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2019年11月8日 · Boss stuff is usually simple and intuitive, and it’s not that the OD-200’s deeper functions are difficult to understand, it really just came down to the very limited 3 character display that was apparently lifted from an ‘80s era calculator. I’m looking forward to a time when digital gear is as good as or better than analog.
I Probably Only "Need" One Dirt Pedal--But Where's The Fun In …
2024年6月30日 · I discovered the OD-200 last year. It is 12 different pedals with 12+ boosts, and a noise gate. Now I just need to get rid of my Fender Pugilist Duel, and SF300, that offer no advantage to the OD-200 that I can perceive. Similarly, I discovered that this pedal, and a few other Boss pedals (RV-500,DD-500,MD-500), are all the pedals I will ever need.
The Boss BD-2 Blues Driver for Country Picking
2016年5月1日 · Thanks for making and sharing that video. I have a couple of BD-2s, but neither is blue. One is the Driver half of a JB-2 Angry Driver. The other is a setting on the Boss OD-200. One nice feature of the OD-200 pedal is the tone stack: it has separate knobs for bass, middle, and treble; and all...
Any Boss OD-3 fans here? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2010年7月22日 · Boss's marketing approach with the OD-3 was terrible, starting with the yellow pedal color. People assume that it's somehow similar to the (roughly) half priced SD-1, and they aren't, in any way. Everything about the BD-2 was (and is) somewhat exciting - a pedal that generates bluesy OD tones, and an "instant gratification" voicing when folks ...
Strymon Iridium vs ToneX vs Boss IR200 vs HX stomp
2017年4月5日 · Overall, I’m really happy with the Boss and mainly use the VOX, Marshall, Twin-Reverb, Bassman and bass guitar settings. I’m very attached to my pedalboard, and the Boss has a FX loop. Tube amp sims are excellent sounding and respond accordingly. You can goose the settings with an OD or treble booster just like it has preamp tubes.
Boss OD-3, OS-2,OD-2R, SD-1, DS-1...etc - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2005年12月29日 · od-2/od-2r: Discrete opamp circuit, good sounding OD, the 'boost' function is a mosfet clipping circuit. (link removed) Sd-1: modified tube screamer circuit. Not as much of a mid hump and not as smooth as a standard TS. (link removed) od-3: Discrete opamp as well, very good sounding OD, a little bit more compressed than a TS, more bottom end as ...
Boss OD-3 Surprise - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2010年12月3日 · od-3, bd-2 and dd pedals are really good modern boss pedals for me. And another funny thing, that I am not too crazy about their RE-20, which seems like has some positive reviews. od-3 is realy good smooth and natural overdrive without extra $$$ for boutique status. And It's delivers some nice low gain sounds.
Boss OD-3 opinions - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2005年8月27日 · Hello. I recently tried out a Boss OD-3 at a music store through a little mid 80's Fender JAM 1x12" with an American Std. Tele, and I loved how it sounded, even through that little amp (though the amp without the pedal was kind of sad). I had to have it, but realized they are almost $100 new, so...
Boss OD-3 vs BD-2 | Page 2 - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2012年9月19日 · I like both of these pedals but I'd actually probably give the nod to the Blues Driver. The bass on the Overdrive just is a bit too much for me. That's really the only caveat with it, out of the box stock. The good news is that only 2 component swaps (maybe a …
Boss v. MXR OD pedals? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
2019年11月28日 · Boss Auto Wah AW-3 --> MXR Sugar Drive (Klon clone) --> Strymon Blue Sky reverb --> Mesa TA-15 on the Fender tone stack setting. Tried switching positions of the AW-3 and the Sugar Drive. Liked it this way better. Not the same as an MXR with a MuTron or a Q-Tron, but in the ballpark enough to convince me I am not Jerry Garcia.
