2009年1月6日 · Climb to the top once - install a rod with pulley across it and fasten it ,use 3/32 stainless cable twice the hight of the chimney hooked to the brush, now go to the ground and start pulling the brush to bottom ,top and back to bottom, leave the brush there untill next cleaning . to clean again just pull on the cable to move the brush.

2017年11月16日 · Start at the top and don't go lower until the top is completely broken up. Smaller pieces are better than larger. Buddy tried to rush and smashed out the bottom of a tile without break up the top first. Jammed things up nicely. Better to remove pieces via the clean out a bit at a time, rather than after it's all done. I used 5' pipe sections.

I pushed the sooteater with the flexible rods three feet through the horizontal pipe then made a 90 deg bend and I kept adding extensions till I reached the top.
