The L3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems requires the completion of both centre based knowledge and practical assessments* and is designed for individuals carrying out the installation, commissioning, de-commissioning, servicing and maintenance of small scale solar photovoltaic systems.

This 4 & 1/2 day BPEC Solar PV Installer Course is for those wishing to achieve nationally recognised certification in the installation and maintenance of small scale grid tied Photovoltaic systems. It is based on the National Occupational Standards and is recognised and accepted by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.

This qualification in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) provides an understanding of PV systems with a view to applying for Competent Persons, Micro-Generation Scheme and/or Green Deal registration.
