2019年12月2日 · Removing the washers from the M4 without breaking them was a real chore and took hours. All the leather was then treated to a soak in bees wax and gently transferred onto the M3 tang. There is a longer line of leather washers on an M3 than an M4 and I managed to salvage the best of the original M3 washers to augment the M4 ones.

A problem with light birdshot when new could, inadvertently, be deemed by some to be indicative of problems with the shotgun rather than just the need to get some "cycles" on it.
