2023年12月14日 · Panasonic HDMI encoder and the chips/capacitor looking things below it are toast. Seems fixable in theory, but a pain in the ass. AV should work fine, though. The capacitors that feed into the HDMI IC are blown which likely means the actual chip is also fried.

2022年9月7日 · My original post where I attempt to fix 8 broken PS3s. One of them turns out to be an easy fix. This console originally got GLOD. When trying to boot into PS3 OS, it gives only a black screen and the console is stuck there forever. Long pressing the power button can’t even shut the console down, the green light just blinks forever.

If PS3 stays frozen and won't turn off, I can guess this is failing PS3's graphics processing unit (GPU). Could possibly be a cold solder joints in which a disassamle and bake the PS3 board can possibly sometimes fix. Or it may be a faulty chip, blown capacitors, or something else is faulty in PS3.
