2014年8月15日 · Browning-BAR 7mm rem magnum. I've owned this gun for 20 years or so. At purchase and up until about a year ago this gun was extremely accurate. It has started to fly rounds even at close distance (50 yds). It is unpredictable. it will shoot a couple rounds close and then fly them away again.

2019年3月20日 · I have a BAR in 7 mm Rem mag that I hunted with for years. It is not the same gun as the new ones but I would think some of the issues would be similar. The gas port has to be kept really clean on mine or it might not eject the empty correctly. I had to clean it after firing around 30 shots or so.

2019年12月20日 · As you probably already know, it depends on what animal you're shooting and how far. In my Browning BAR Mark3 7mm Mag I've recently tried 160 grain Nosler Partitions for an upcoming hog hunt. I've found them to be extremely accurate at 100 yards, 3 rounds covered by a nickel. If you're shooting a few hundred yards, I'd do the Accubonds.

2020年11月1日 · Hey gang! New go to board. I have a Browning X Bolt 7mm Rem Mag, and I am currently loading the 162 gr ELDX for a hunt in North Missouri in a couple weeks. I have 4831 on hand. Book max shows 63 grains, and test loads show 3050 FPS. Zero pressure signs. Any advice? I want a solid 600 yard load...

2019年10月25日 · I have reloaded for 7mm Rem Mag before for bolt action before and have had great success with H1000. With the bolt action I had enough room in the mag to make the round long enough to be .010 off the lands and had great success with that load. The Browming BAR has zero room for an extended round so I am stuck with Saami specs with a 9.5:1 twist.

2017年2月10日 · I have the X Bolt in 7mm and use factory ammo at this time. I shoot either the Barnes VOR-TX 150gr(which shoots really well) or the Federal Fusion 150gr. That may be a good starting point.

2019年7月23日 · I now have a 7mm longtrac, alot lighter carrying . Shoots 140 accubonds great. Know of several others in the family, in various calibers, all shoot good and a reliable as far as cycling compared to the remington autos.

2020年10月17日 · If you get a 7mm Mag with a BOSS you can expect most ammo to shoot sub moa. You will give up some velocity due to the effective bbl length of 20". I have had BARs and sold them as I find the Benelli R1 to be a better handling rifle. My 300 winmag will shoot 3 in 3/4" with a worked up handload that pushes a 165 Accubond @3100 and kills very well.

2023年7月31日 · Getting ready to order a carbon 6 barrel for a 7mm rem mag build. Length will be 22-24" (havent decided yet). I want to shoot a slightly heavier bullet 162-170. What twist rate do you all recommend? Was thinking 1:8.5.

2021年10月13日 · I just bought 2 fairly new/new Browning BLR's. The new one is in .300 win mag, and the used one is a 2020 in 7mm Rem Mag. Anybody have experience with the accuracy of the BLR? I have plenty of factory ammo to try out in them with different brands and different bullet weights. I put a Leupold VX5...
