2008年8月7日 · I use brylcreem (stolen from my husband - who is a supergreaser but he uses lay rite or murrays). I find brylcreem to bet just enough to moisten my hair to lay down and take care of fly-aways...without getting greasy. I use it before i set my hair and when I take out the rollers, smooth as silk. But just a little dab. It really does go a long way.

I have since used Dax Wave & Groom, which is thick, hard-holding if much is used, and not that shiny. I'm interested in knowing what Groom & Clean is like. Do they still make it, or did it go out of production recently?

2008年3月25日 · The original Brylcreem in the red container, with that distinctive smell is still available here in Leeds and I guess anywhere in the UK, and can be bought for as little as one pound. There is a similar coloured red container which does'nt have the same smell, and contains "limonene" which gives it a lemony smell.
