The BTR-94 (Bronetransporter, model 1994) is a Ukrainian 8x8 amphibious APC proposed solely for export and produced in 1999-2000. It was largely based on the BTR-80 produced at Arzamas (GAZ), Nizhniy Novgorod.

Le BTR-94 est un véhicule de transport de troupes ukrainien à 8 roues motrices. Il est basé sur le BTR-80 soviétique. The BTR-94 is nothing more than a Ukrainian modification of the Soviet-era BTR-80 infantry fighting vehicle. As such, the system retains the same 8x8 wheel design and amphibious capabilities as the original. The BTR-94 differed in the use of a new, larger turret assembly with 2 x 23mm cannons and a coaxially mounted 7.62mm machine gun.

The BTR-94 is a Ukrainian developed upgraded Russian BTR-80 8×8 Infantry Fighting Vehicle. Developed in the 1990’s, it was purchased by Jordan (50) in 2000 who surprisingly donated the lot to Iraq in 2004.
