2003年12月11日 · I picked up a 1st production run 885 at the Blade show during the BCCI private sale and have to agree that it is one nice knife. The handle shape fits my hand nicely and it's thickness is just right on. It opens smooth as butter and locks up securely with no blade play.

The Taclite model 885 is 8.25 long with a premium 3.5" ATS plain edge blade. Premium materials with an outstanding fit and finish. Grippy textured G10 scales over bead blasted non glare liners.

The BUCK 885 Taclite is a light weigh one-hand opening and closing folder. . The sharp ATS-34 steel knife blade is 3 9/16 long with a satin finish and a thumb stud to assist with easy opening. The blade has been heat treated by Paul Bos to Rc 59-61.

2001年12月20日 · The slightly up-tilted file work over the thumb stud makes for a great hold when gripping the knife for some heavy work. I find it easy to hold the knife and use all 3.75" of the blade, depending on the task at hand. The blade is ATS-34, and combined with Buck's edging, is razor sharp and keeps it.
