2025年3月3日 · Following the resurrection of Butetown Carnival in 2014 after a 16-year absence, Butetown Arts & Culture Association (BACA) was formed in 2015 to promote, celebrate and sustain the diverse social, cultural and artistic heritage of Butetown, Cardiff.

Butetown History & Arts Centre (BHAC) was a historical archive, educational centre and art gallery located in the Butetown area of Cardiff, Wales. BHAC was founded by Glenn Jordan as a non-profiting organisation with the aim to involve the local people of Butetown to help promote the area's history of the docklands.

2024年11月15日 · The Butetown Heritage Mural on the Dumballs road was initiated by ‘Our Cardiff’ project of Cadwyn- a nonprofit homeowner’s association fighting homelessness. According to Cadwyn representative Iwan Llewelyn, the mural is aspiring to become a new landmark in the Cardiff Bay region.

Butetown History and Art Centre is a thriving community hub that collects, preserves and presents the lived history of Cardiff Docklands and the Bay area. They put on exhibitions and produce books that draw on the photos, documents, and oral histories of local people.

With the support of the Arts Council of Wales, the Makers Guild Wales is providing a programme of creative craft activities for adults living within the local Butetown community in Cardiff. A fabulous range of hands-on craft sessions will take place at venues within Butetown and in our workshop spaces at Craft in the Bay over the coming months.

Butetown Carnival is iconic in the history of our community, and an exemplar in the history of multicultural Wales.
