As its twin engine/twin boom, I wanted the challenge, since I seem to build a lot of high wing single engine planes. I should be able to get a good jump on this while I'm waiting for my DH-80a parts to arrive from Manzano.

2013年8月22日 · A friend of mine here in Brazil bought the C119 and lucky for me, decided to sell it, the box still closed as it came from Dare, wrapped in US Post brown paper et all. The kit was purchased in 2010 and has the plastic rear hatch door. This is my second kit build, the first was a Great Planes Spacewalker.

2007年1月18日 · Flying in Alaska with the fire service and dropping cargo from a temporarily converted retardant bomber. The pilot, Ed Duggan managed to land an engine out, on fire C-119 on a bravel bar on the Koyukuk River in Alaska. He walked away from it with nary a scratch.
