2 天之前 · The C30-7 exported to Estonia were originally built for Conrail in 1984, and were of the C30-7A submodel: meaning they had a 12 cylinder engine, uprated to give the same 3,000 horsepower (American rating convention: probably closer to 3300 by the conventions used in much of the rest of the world).

The C30-7 is a 6-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by GE Transportation Systems between September 1976 and May 1986 as an updated U30C with a 16-cylinder 3,000 horsepower (2,200 kW) FDL-series diesel engine.

2024年7月2日 · These included 58 ex-UP C36-7 locomotives (originally Missouri Pacific, all built in 1985), reclassified as C36-7i units, plus 19 ex-Conrail C30-7A locomotives, built 1979-81, rebuilt as C30-7i units.

The C30-7 model was manufactured between 1976 and 1986 and was fitted with a 16-cylinder 7FDL engine. It replaced the U30C model. A total of 1,137 C30-7s were built, all of them for North American railroads. These production numbers include the 50 C30-7A variants described below.

2020年1月10日 · CZ LOKO signed an agreement with the Estonian operator Operail (until 2018 known as EVR Cargo) for kits to be supplied for the comprehensive rebuilding of six more Class C30-7Ai diesel locomotives, bringing the number of such rebuilds up to 13.

While passenger trains are operated by private operators, motive power is generally provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (RAI).
