There is a slight difference in thickness between a clear bra and a vinyl wrap. The bra/stone shield material is usually around 8 mils thick whereas the vinyl wrap material is 2-4 mils.

2020年5月15日 · It does have a life span, and if you spend 2k or 2500.00 on a wrap, you could've gotten paint for maybe another 1k-1500 bucks. In most cases new car guys can justify a wrap more than 20yr old car guys can. A new car...it's a good case for wrap...it protects the newer paint job for resale, allows a unique appearance, etc.

2019年6月28日 · I’ve done some vinyl work and have a familiarity with the material. Make sure you use vinyl intended for Automotive use. Di-Noc is very attractive but designed for flat interior walls, not compound curves. I learned this from 3M directly.

2019年6月17日 · Unsure but, your nearest wrap shop should have an indication if they've already done a C5? It may be possible to "guesstimate" by taking length and width measurements, such as 15 feet x 8 feet to get a good idea what you may require. little extra won't hurt in case one of the panels gets damaged, you have extra wrap readily available and on hand.
