Other than H&R/PSA; the C7 uppers are sent out by the same forge; Anchor Harvey. Now, it's likely that there are different final machine shops finishing them for the various retailers but it's just as likely to be the one same machine shop doing all of them, with specified lots that have M4 ramps and others not having M4 ramps.

I had an M16A1 upper that were surplused around 10 years ago, and brass hit me in the forehead. I can’t find any C7 uppers anywhere. These used to be so common, now impossible to find.

2018年5月8日 · You can still use it for a nice C7 style build since it is a C7 style upper receiver and definitely closer in the grand scheme of things then a split A “Anchor Harvey” forge code upper receiver would be, but it still not a true Canadian military Diemaco C7 upper. I just wanted to clarify what exactly you had. Sorry.

2022年9月9日 · This upper was sold as a C7. It's gray, has no M4 cuts (of course) but looks perhaps more like a 603. Flashing is present, as is the rear hump at the base of the carry handle. Thoughts on identification? 603 or C7? [ignore the barrel/delta ring/etc...not original to the upper]

2020年6月10日 · Slowly collecting parts with the goal of building a Colt 733 clone and looking for some advice on a quality upper receiver. Heard some very mixed things about the quality of Brownells C7 upper and the Retro Rifles uppers and builds, so I’ve shied away from both.

2024年12月26日 · In my opinion, it depends on the lower. For a framed mag release lower, I like a FA upper. And more specifically for forward assists, tear drop FA on A1 uppers, big round on carry handle A2 uppers, little round on non Carry Handle uppers.
