2025年1月24日 · The Implementation Procedures for Airworthiness (IPA) between the FAA and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) references 3 outside lists, identified in section 3.5.3.3 (a): Special Emphasis Items (SEI), 3.5.3.3 (k): Significant Standards Differences (SSD), and 3.5.3.3 (o): Areas for Further Technical Confidence Building (AFTCB).

The FAA Form 8130-4, Export Certificate of Airworthiness should state that the aircraft complies with CAAC approved type design (insert CAAC type certificate number, revision level and date) and is in condition of safe operation.

Certificate (AC-145-2) issued on Feb 10, 2003 is superseded by this AC and is therefore cancelled. This AC provides procedural guidance and policy interpretation for foreign/regional maintenance organizations on how to apply to Civil Aviation Administration of China (hereinafter referred as CAAC) for maintenance organization certificate only.
