The Medium Support Vehicle System (MSVS) is a designation for two types of medium capacity logistics trucks used by the Canadian Army: the Standard Military Pattern (SMP) for use by the regular forces and for overseas deployments, and the Militarized Commercial Off-The-Shelf (MilCOTS) trucks for use by the Army Reserve and for domestic purposes.

2024年1月11日 · The CAF requires a protected, lightweight multi-role and highly mobile ground wheeled vehicle in order to conduct multiple battlefield roles and tasks across the spectrum of conflict. This includes, Combat roles, Command Support roles, Combat Service Support roles, Individual Training and Training support tasks.

ALLENTOWN, PA (Feb. 13, 2020) – Mack Defense has assembled the 1,587th and final truck for the Medium Support Vehicle System (MSVS) Standard Military Pattern (SMP) program. The truck rolled off the assembly line on Feb. 13 in Saint Nicolas, Quebec in front of a select group of dignitaries, military officials and Mack Defense employees.
