The high-performance Tracked Light Armoured Vehicle (TLAV) provides a tracked command and control, ambulance, and maintenance and recovery support capability for the Canadian Army.

It includes the land equipment in use by the Canadian Army and Primary Reserve, the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, the Canadian Joint Operations Command, the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The high-performance Tracked Light Armoured Vehicle (TLAV) provides a tracked command and control, ambulance, and maintenance and recovery support capability for the Canadian Army. The 400 HP tunable engine (governed down to 350 HP) provides a top speed of 66 km/h.

The CAF’s existing armoured support vehicles fleet contains the LAV II Bison and the M113 Tracked LAV. The new GDLS-C vehicles for the CAF will come in eight variants to deliver services such as ambulances, vehicle recovery, engineering, mobile repair, electronic warfare, troop-carrying and command posts.
