It was officially renamed the Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler Events Center in February 2023 after the Fowlers declared a massive gift to California Baptist University of $28.5 million. Dr. Ronald L. Ellis, CBU president, said the new multi-use arena is the realization of dreams and prayers of generations of Lancers.

Canale Arena (formerly De La Salle Gymnasium) is the on-campus athletic facility for Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. Canale Arena is home to the Buccaneer and Lady Buccaneer basketball and volleyball teams. The Buccaneer basketball team was the Gulf South Conference champion in 2008. [2]
