At NYP, our PFP curriculum offers two distinctive tracks to get you ready for your chosen course. To fulfill the entry requirements for either tracks, you must meet the raw ELMAB3 aggregate of 12 points or lower, before CCA deductions. This includes English, Mathematics and your Best 3 subjects at your N-Levels.

To be eligible to apply for the PFP in the current year, students must have sat for their GCE ‘N’-level examination in the preceding year as a Secondary 4 N (A) school candidate, and met both of the following requirements:

After determining students' eligibility for the PFP based on their raw ELMAB3 aggregates, CCA bonus points are taken into consideration for posting to a PFP course, which is carried out by merit in open competition against other applicants.

Obtain an ELMAB3 (English Language, Mathematics, Best 3 subjects) raw aggregate score of 12 points or better (excluding CCA bonus points); and Meet the minimum grade requirements for specific subjects (see tables below):

The PFP Scholarship is open for application to PFP students during the first semester of the academic year in April each year. Application for PFP Scholarship is by invitation only. Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview by the Selection Panel.
