What is the difference in CCI 200 vs 34 - CMP Forums
2012年7月3日 · CCI-34 is their mil-spec primer designed for use in 7.62 and similar ammunition. It is equivalent to a magnum primer (#250) in brisance, but uses a different primer compound that is less sensitive to help prevent slam fires in military type weapons.
What is the difference in CCI 200 vs 34 - CMP Forums
2012年7月5日 · I also shoot 6.8 SPC in an AR. I use Remington LP brass, and #34 primers. Based on chronograph testing, the 34 gives me higher velocity, lower SD, and better accuracy than the same loads using standard primers. I started out with what I could get locally when I first got that rifle -- Varget and CCI-200s.
Primer Question - CMP Forums
2024年2月7日 · I think if I were going to do much shooting with ball powders in 30-06 I’d either hold out for #34’s or magnum primers. Interestingly, Speer shows a magnum primer with ball powders and standard primer with extruded powders in their 125 TNT data.

Reloading: Primers and headspace in 30-06 - CMP Forums
2010年3月7日 · I use CCI 34 primers in both 308 for my M1A and 30.06 for my garand. Many say you don't need them but I feel more comfortable using them so that's what counts for me. The primary concern is to clean out that primer pocket and make sure your primers seat 3+ thousands below flush. For headspace I use the dillon headspace gauge.
Service Rifle Load Data - CMP Forums
The issue of CCI #34 primers keep getting rehashed. I think CCI is capable of adjusting primer sensitivity and produced a product that matches the military standard in the 34, 35 and 41 series. The 34s are a magnum primer--I see no downside in …

Warning: Powders such as IMR-4350, IMR-4831, H-4831 and others with similar burning rates, cause short cyclings, increased recoil, erratic port pressure and accelerated wear in an M1. They should never be used to reload any cartridge ...
CCI #41 or Small Rifle Magnum primers for .30 carbine?
2014年3月2日 · It indicates that a Small Rifle Magnum primer is best with H110 for 'cold conditions'. I understand that CCI Military Primers (#41 and #34) are magnum primers with hard cups. I found that I have both CCI Small Rifle Magnum and CCI #41 primers avail for the next .30 Carb reloading project (H110, 110gr bullets).
Any experience with Winchester #41 SR primers? - CMP Forums
2023年12月19日 · Nobody pays for that in civilian market primers. CCI does produce military primers on contract, but they are separately packaged and have higher prices than the civilian market #41 and #34 primers from CCI, and they don't have the nickel plating that the CCI civilian market versions do as that would not meet the military drawing requirements.

2009年5月28日 · I just got a call today from Powder Valley, they're finally able to fill my order for 8# of IMR4895 and 5000 CCI #34 primers, should ship tomorrow. So I'm glad to hear that IMR4895 is good stuff! I've got several thousand pulled 150gr. military bullets, and God-only-knows how much .30-06 brass, all cleaned, polished, and the primer crimps reamed.
