With this primer there is more 'distance' between the tip of the anvil and the bottom of the cup than with other CCI SR primers. .025" thick cup. Same primer mix as CCI 450.

2020年6月26日 · But CCI#41's work great too, the same really as far as I can tell. Somehow, magically, my guns that fire lowly CCI200's and/or Fed210's shoot just as good and get low SD's as well. I think it's a good bet that the Win#41's will go bang too.

2008年1月11日 · The 41's and 450’s are essentially the same primer with a slight change in the anvil geometry of the 41’s to make them less sensitive to light strikes, ie. more resistant to slam fires. As always though, it might still be wise to cut back on the charge slightly and work back up when making a component change.

2022年4月25日 · Youre going to want to use the thicker cupped 450 or 41 primers to deal with the high pressures. What action? With a large .078 firing pin commonly found in rem700 its too big of a hole in the bolt face for the small primer material to adequately support and youll find you get popped primers which is no bueno. The large primers are to go to there.

2021年3月14日 · CCI no 34 and 41 hardness is the same the anvil is set back further to prevent slamfires on semiautomatic rifles with floating firing pins. My experience with them on bolt rifles is sometimes they work on one rifle but not another.

2011年11月9日 · So being that CCI #41's are purpose bbuilt for 5.56 and available I gave them a shot. I loaded up a handful to test before I started loading to the old recipe. They shot horrible, it went from a 1 MOA load to 4 MOA load. No pressure signs or function problems.

2020年6月28日 · My data showed the 41 to be a little hotter primer than the BR-4. It was identical to the 450's I have tried, but with a harder cup. The BR-4 gives me the same velocity as the 400.
