Our Art and Design program will help you explore a range of media, increase your practice skills and sharpen your sense of design. You will learn basic visual skills, elements and principles of design, and specific characteristics of several media while gaining a broader perspective through art history and theory.

In the Interior Design program, you will learn how to plan a building layout; choose style and color palettes; select furniture, floor and window coverings; and determine lighting schemes for interior spaces.

The Art and Design Program is designed to educate fundamentally sound and creative artists. As a transfer program, our goal is to prepare and educate students so that they have the best transfer options available.

The Architecture, Design & Construction Department offers a series of Degree and Certificate Programs, which are intended to prepare students to either transfer or to secure employment. Associate of Arts degrees in Architecture or Interior Design are focused on transfer to 4 and 5-year bachelor's degree institutions.
