For CCRN, it was videos accompanied by PowerPoint presentations that also included handouts of study materials. I found it to be thorough and helpful. TNCC is the trauma nurse core curriculum course, and this is a good certification to have for anyone who deals with trauma patients.

I just recently took the CCRN, and used the Pass CCRN CD also. In my opinion, the questions on the actual test were less complex/more straightforward than on the CD. I think I scored a good 10% higher on the test than any of the practice tests I took. I think you should be fine if you are consistently passing the practice tests. Good luck!

I was getting 68% and up on the practice exams, I passed the CCRN last week with a score of 103! I feel like the PASS CCRN practice exams were extremely detailed, and that the actual exam was half of half and half, half really detailed, and half more the concepts in general.

In my opinion, the biggest difference between Pass CCRN and the actual exam is that the Pass CCRN qbank has a lot more fluff in the questions, meaning you are given a ton of information about the condition of the patient and the actual question has nothing to do with any of the info you just read. The CCRN is a heavy practice type test that really focuses on cardiac monitoring PA/Swan, IABP, and drug intervention. Cardiovascular is a big part of that exam. Take the practice test.

2018年5月23日 · I agree. We tend to push for CEN, CPEN, and TCRN first but if someone wants to get their CCRN that is great. We start out ICU patients and start vents/NIPPV/other 'critical care' respiratory support, pressors and inotropes, TPA, art lines, et cetera. A mistake in their care is just as costly as in the unit.
