TERF Inc. is also the sole source for The Rutan Aircraft Factory CD ROM Encyclopedia. The plans for the first 5 Aircraft designed and build by the renown aircraft designer Burt Rutan. Burt is famous for the Voyager Non Stop around the world project in 1986 and more recently winning the X-Prize for private manned space flight.

The Builder purchases a "Terf CD" that contains a legal copyrighted copy of the original LongEZ plans. Then download and print a copy of the OpenEZ drawings and the CPs. You now have a complete set of plans (Terf CD and OpenEZ), with the latest updates (The CPs). This should be everything you need to start the building process.

2005年12月16日 · I'd like to get going on this project by ordering the TERF CD, doing research, getting my build space setup, ordering materials, etc.. Can I actually do any contruction without the templates? Trying to give myself as much time as possible to locate a reasonable set of plans (read not $1500), but not have that holding up the whole project.

The Rutan Model 61 Long-EZ is a tandem 2-seater homebuilt aircraft designed by Burt Rutan 's Rutan Aircraft Factory. The Long-EZ has a canard layout, a swept wing with wingtip rudders, and a pusher engine and propeller.
