The CD8α–PILRα interaction maintains CD8 + T cell quiescence
2022年5月26日 · We show here that CD8α is critical for the maintenance of CD8 + T cells in a physiologically quiescent state in peripheral lymphoid organs. Upon inducible deletion of …
The CD8α-PILRα interaction maintains CD8 + T cell quiescence
2022年5月26日 · Upon inducible deletion of CD8α, both naïve and memory CD8 + T cells spontaneously acquired activation phenotypes and subsequently died without exposure to specific antigens. PILRα was identified as a ligand for CD8α in both mice and humans, and disruption of this interaction was able to break CD8 + T cell quiescence.
Deep learning enhances the prediction of HLA class I-presented CD8 …
2025年1月28日 · Here, motivated by recent successes applying machine learning to complex biology, we curated a dataset of 651,237 unique human leukocyte antigen class I (HLA-I) ligands and developed MUNIS, a deep...

CD8 - Wikipedia
CD8 (cluster of differentiation 8) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that serves as a co-receptor for the T-cell receptor (TCR). Along with the TCR, the CD8 co-receptor plays a role in T cell signaling and aiding with cytotoxic T cell - antigen interactions.
A new way to maintain CD8 - Nature
2022年7月12日 · CD8α-PILRα interaction maintains the physiologically quiescent state of naive and memory CD8 + T cells in peripheral lymphoid organs. a In the steady-state, CD8 molecule expressed by naive and...

2024年9月19日 · Herein, we describe a monovalent pHLA-CD80 scaffold fusion protein called APC-mimic, which includes the cognate pHLA complex and co-stimulatory marker CD80, resulting in direct antigen presentation to specific T cells and activating them in a natural way.
CD8-dependent cooperation of noncognate and cognate pHLA …
Thus, close ‘‘packaging’’ of pHLA-A2 on QDs apparently favors optimal multivalent CD8– pHLA-A2 interactions, whereas assembly of pMHC into the tetramer imposes constrains on their ...
