From our own CEO of Haute Hijab, to women leading mental health wellness narratives, to social justice activists, these women have kept faith at the center of their drive and are paving paths for generations to come. There are so many powerful Muslim women founders and nonprofit leaders that whittling it down to a few was a difficult feat!

In the face of challenges plaguing our world today, we consider it an honor to serve the Muslim woman by providing her with products, meaningful experiences and resources to improve her relationship with hijab, expand her mind, enrich her life and nourish her soul.

I wanted to elevate the experience of hijab for every woman who chooses to wear one. In my own personal journey with hijab and faith, I came to understand the incredible power Muslim women hold; the invisible force-field that comes from within and the long line of distinguished Muslim women upon whose shoulders we stand.

Melanie Elturk is the founder and CEO of Haute Hijab, a leading American hijab fashion brand. Born and raised in America, Melanie attended college and finished law school at age 23. After graduation, she shifted to her entrepreneurial journey- Haute Hijab.

Melanie Elturk is CEO and founder of Haute Hijab, the leading hijab brand in the United States. She founded the company with her husband in 2010, and they both now work at the company full-time. Previously, Elturk had a law career where she specialized in civil rights.
