The ATSF CF7 is a type of four-axle 1,750 hp rebuilt diesel locomotive rebuilt by the Santa Fe (Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe) Railroad from 1970 to 1978 from various F series cab locomotives (although it was first planned in 1969).

The modified F7 units were given the new designation of CF7. Each locomotive conversion took about 45 days to complete and cost only one-half to one-third as much as a new locomotive. The program operated from 1969 to 1978 and converted a total of 233 units.
