2024年1月14日 · (1) CFAI material--whether it be the books, practice questions, or mock exams--are, in my opinion, far superior to external providers for this level. MM wording (tries to be trendy/cute, eg use phrases like "on fleek!") and format (too complicated+ weird answer choices) is not reflective of how CFAI writes their exams, especially for this level.

2022年1月13日 · Focus on the cfai question bank and their official mock. I think I solved the entire question bank twice, first time was during the first run through, and 2nd time was during revision stage. It was worth it. And the exam was not too easy and not too hard.

Personally, I only studied from CFAI material and found that a lot of the material was similar to/built on what I learned in university. This being said, it does take longer to get through the material vs using Schweser or another prep provider, however I believe it helps build a better knowledge base which will be helpful when studying later ...

2020年5月8日 · If you want to understand the material at a deeper level and also have the time, capacity and inclination to read through the vast material, then sure you use only the CFAI material. Most of the candidates use third party material. I used the CFAI material for end of chapter summaries, ,topic tests, end of chapter questions and mock exams.

2021年3月31日 · I didn't bother understanding the CFAI text 100% when I was reading it. I just made sure I can answer all the questions in the mock exams. If I couldn't, then I would go back into the CFAI text or prep provider materials to clarify.
