Founded in 2017, Common Ground Collective (CGC) is a Maui-based non-profit organization that works to promote food security and economic opportunity through education and capacity-building assistance.

USCGC Maui was one of six Island class patrol boats stationed in Manama, Bahrain as a part of Patrol Forces Southwest Asia to provide the Navy's Fifth Fleet with combat ready assets.

At Common Ground Collective (CGC), we believe that strong communities are rooted in sustainability, collaboration, and shared purpose. Since our founding, we’ve worked tirelessly to empower individuals, strengthen local food systems, and promote resilience through agriculture, education, and collective action.

This project aims to strengthen Maui’s local food system by working collaboratively with farmers, ranchers, food producers, organizations, and local businesses. The surveys below are a critical part of this process, helping us ensure that the project meets the community’s needs.

2023年10月4日 · A 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, Common Ground Collective (CGC) strives to transform Maui into a bountiful and productive island that benefits both the environment and the people who live here, in extraordinary ways.

In September 2023, CGC launched the Maui Emergency Feeding Taskforce (MEFT), a grassroots effort to open lines of communication among community organizers and government officials, advocate for greater collaboration, and ease daily burdens on displaced families.
