.22 Comparison: CGS Siren (Hydra) vs. Griffin Mustang vs. ECCO ...
2024年4月16日 · There is a diffuser ("Pop Reducer Baffle") as the first baffle on the Siren, but is not present at all on the Hydras. And a pretty lineup shot of the cleaning bench to include from L-to-R, the very nicely designed Griffin Checkmate-HD, the tried-and-true DA Mask, the CGS Siren, the YHM Phantom22, the CGS Hydra-AL and Hydra-SS.
ECCO Salamander vs. CGS Siren: Mini Review - AR15.COM
2023年9月3日 · The Siren has a slightly lower tone, slightly quieter, and delivers more of a simple uncorking 'pop' sound. I would imagine the characteristics of carbon fiber would affect tone, resonance etc... M&P 15/22: Slight, but noticeably louder than the CGS, but not objectionably so (still no ear protection needed).
CGS Siren versus CGS Hydra-AL - AR15.COM
2020年9月23日 · The Siren has a FRP reducer disc in the first chamber whereas the Hydra AL doesn't. The baffles are identical in type and quantity and all have the indexing features that clock in 90 deg increments and lock into the rear cap rotationally so you'll have the same POI shift upon reassembly if you remember where you oriented the stack.

CGS SIREN Carbon Fiber .22 Can Quick Review - AR15.COM
2020年8月25日 · My CGS Siren was approved the other day (only 6.5 months) and I was able to run a few shots through it before the rain it yesterday; I am comparing it to my DA Mask. First - It's light, oh so light, holding the box you would swear it's empty.
CGS Siren - AR15.COM
2021年2月23日 · Pop a Siren on the end of a KEL TEC 33 and the balance is superb. Yes - I am a HUGE CGS fan-boy and next up for me is a likely a Hyperion, plus Paco (Jason?) answered all my detailed questions. @Paco-Rameriz - how about carbon fiber in larger sizes - possible? Any chance of CGS going 3D printed in the next few years?
Talk to me about CGS suppressors > Silencers > AR15.COM
2021年8月7日 · Plenty of talk about them. CGS is good to go. I’m a happy Kraken/Mod 9 owner. It balances super well on a pistol. I also have the Siren which is like air. The Hyperion is heads and shoulders above other rifle cans too. They are one of the few who doesn’t seem to stop pushing the boundaries or bother to pay too much attention to the competition.
CGS Hydra-SS? - AR15.COM
2020年2月19日 · New CGS Hydras for 2020, such as what Silencer Shop and Capitol Armory have, are all outfitted with Siren type baffles. The SS model has a stainless version of the Siren baffle and also now has a PVD coated tube for better and more consistent coloring. They don't have the first round pop reducer that the Siren has.
Looking to buy my First 22 LR Suppressor - AR15.COM
2022年2月6日 · The TBAC Takedown, Rugged Occulus, and Energetic NYX were my other 3 serious contenders at the time. Since then a few newer options have become available. The SiCo Switchback is interesting if you like alot of versatility. The CGS Hydra and Siren are also fantastic. Hopefully they get the Siren back into production some day. It is crazy ...
Rimfire Pistol Suppressor FRP Showdown-Part III - AR15.COM
2024年4月8日 · -CGS Siren has unacceptable FRP for me but it is insanely quiet on additional shots. It may be the quietest among the group on 2+. I've observed the same phenomenon on the Kraken with 9mm so it must be baffle design related. The Siren will be my go to rifle can given the sound and insane lack of weight.
