This new residence hall is the cornerstone of our new Creativity and Innovation District, making the most of existing programs and facilities in the area. Here, students will benefit from a vibrant community where individuals working across disciplines come together, explore, and create.

The residence hall opened in August 2021. It offers housing for approximately 600 students and various academic, social, research, and collaboration spaces. Students living in the Creativity and Innovation District Living-Learning Program have opportunities to be involved in three living-learning communities for the arts and entrepreneurship.

I live in CID and have a very positive impression of it. I spend a lot of time in the lobby and hall lounge because it is very relaxing to be in. There are a lot of good study spaces that are not your dorm, which is a big plus. I would highly recommend applying to any of the LLCs that are there if you are interested.

All students who live in Ambler Johnston and O’Shaughnessy Halls have access to residential college programming and staffing, and therefore are required to pay the LLC fee, whether or not they applied to be in the program.
