A Care Management Organization (CMO) is the single point of organizational accountability to support need-based intervention and achieve desired outcomes for youth with behavioral health, developmental, or substance use disorders whose ties to home and community are jeopardized.

CMOs are county-based, nonprofit organizations that provide face-to-face care management for youth with complex needs and their families. The CMO coordinates the organization and delivery of services through the Child/Family Team process and the wraparound approach to planning.
