2024年11月7日 · During Bombardier Inc.'s short stint in manufacturing locomotives for freight service it unveiled the HR616, a model that was based from its former subsidiary's designs, the Montreal Locomotive Works. The new locomotive sported a unique carbody known as the "Draper Taper" that was intended to improve a crews' visibility when looking aft.

20 units – Built by Bombardier. 3,200 hp. C-C trucks. Featured a cowl body, with an indentation behind the cab, known as the “Draper Taper”. Nos. 2100 -2103 were returned to Bombardier in February 1983 and were used as demonstrator units on Canadian Pacific.

2014年6月27日 · CN 2105 was a locomotive of particularly rare vintage. It turns out, this was a Bombardier HR616 unit (six axles, 16 cylinders, 3,000 horsepower). Finding information on this cowl unit was tough, since its number now belongs to a C40-8W.
