Pictures of CNW 4251
Number 4251 was built in March 1956 as Carolina & Northwestern (CRN) 11 (c/n 81464), the only RS11 on the Southern Railway system, of which CRN was a part. It was purchased second-hand by the C&NW from GE on December 22, 1973, retired August 9, 1983.

Green Bay was the last stronghold for Alcos on the CNW. The Alco engines were superior performers on extreme cold and CNW relegated then to serving the cold area of Green Bay. Rare Atlas N-Scale C&NW RS-11 needs help!
2023年8月10日 · Your Atlas N-scale C&NW RS-11 looks to have been released 2011-04-01, according to some information I have found. Probably released as an Atlas "Classic". Available with or without a decoder. Since apparently only one road number (4251) was available, I'm guessing the CNW only roster'd one of these to start with.
