2016年7月15日 · The gist is that you hook a battery (or 2 for 24 V models) directly to the CPAP. Virtually all CPAPs these days actually run on 12-24 VDC, derived from the AC power line by a power supply module. If you can bypass the module, you can run much, much more efficiently from a variety of 12VDC sources without using an inverter.

The power supply is a KFD 12V 24V Car Charger Vehicle Power Supply 90W and is $30 USD. I've had real good luck using this brand of power supply. If you notice, the type of battery I chose has threaded terminals.

However, it really can NOT be used as a backup power supply. In other words, you can use your normal ResMed power supply OR the backup battery (or, batteries as the case may be).

The two things to keep in mind are: 1) Is the pressure the same or close between the two CPAP machines 2) The battery backup for the Airsense 10 is $300.

I have a cig socket thats regulated with a buck converter to give out only 24.3v instead of the batteries 27v fully charged state.

2021年10月18日 · If if looks just like the 12V AirMini DC-DC adapter, then this would be your battery backup solution during a power outage. You could plug this into any 12V accessory outlet on your backup battery and run the unit on DC power. The original AirMini AC adapter will not physically fit into the Airsense because of the way the receptacle is shaped.

2022年3月17日 · I’ve attached a screenshot of what I found for a battery backup. It uses a battery and an inverter that you plug your machine into. Not cheap by any means but it would work. Looks to me like it would work to hook the inverter into a 12 volt battery plug on a car or camper (Which is where I use the battery the most). Hope this is of help.
