The steam locomotive that the CPR used to pull the train was numbered 2850, a 4-6-4 built by Montreal Locomotive Works. Specially painted in silver and blue, the locomotive ran 3,224 mi (5,189 km) across Canada, through 25 changes of crew, without engine failure.

As a memorial tribute to Duncan du Fresne, 1930-2012, the Society approached the Canada Science and Technology Museum with a proposal to restore the cab of CP 2858 to an as-built representation. The museum agreed, and the Society's Dirty Hands Club volunteers, led by John Bryant, tackled the project.

2014年7月23日 · You just need an attachment point that lines up with those wheels attachment point from Worksim's 2858 or tigerko's 2860 reskin. Line up the main wheels with your 2816 boiler and cylinders so the pistons properly come out of the cylinders, and then you can use a prexisting bogey for your drivers.
