2025年1月7日 · The Psychotherapy add-on codes 90833, 90836 and 90838 have a parenthetical instruction that states that they are add-on codes and must be reported in conjunction with 99202-99255, 99304-99337, 99341-99350. In the CPT book our new E&M codes 98000-98016 fall in the range of codes 99202-99255.

2023年10月20日 · We bill 99214, MOD 25; 90833; 90868, MOD 59 on the same date. Anthem only paid 90833, and denied both 99214 and 90868. This is very weird because 90833 is an add-on code, how can they pay only an add-on code and deny the primary code 99214? 90833 has to bill with an E/M code. Modifier 59 is added for 90868, it should get paid also.
