In a 19.5 inch barrel there is barely a pop, much like a well suppressed 22lr. The sound actually is reduced because all of the powder components are burned inside the long barrels.

2013年11月11日 · For CQB it is a nice round Now for other folks (me), the round is like a garbage disposal. You can make brass from 223 or 556 range brass. Most rifles will eat anything 308, from 110-208. You can use a pinch of pistol powder, and I pretty much do that with mine. Lee dippers and some 2400.

2024年8月31日 · Not at all. The M4 has a 14.5” barrel and it’s a good length for the AR platform. If there wasn’t a ridiculous rule mandating a certain barrel length the 14.5” barrel would probably be the preferred length for non-military too.

2024年12月26日 · Hi there, thx for the reply. Looked at the spec,s on the us-869 powder but looks to my eyes its a big mag powder. I am only doing .308 cal in a 180-200g in a hunting spitzer bullet. Never having used this powder is it too slow for the win mag 300, 308 norma mag case. I want to r&d a load for 300-600 yds hunting for my sons.
