If the approved CRSC percentage is less than the VA compensation percentage, the retiree will lose money by not accepting CRDP which allows receipt of the longevity portion of retired pay. Then it other limits such as the most you can get is the total of your VA pay and your earned longevity pension. That is calculated by taking your HIGH 3 times your longevity pension earned.
