The Climate and Sustainability Initiative (CSI) stands as a new-age organisation committed to decarbonising Asia and Africa's economies. CSI's core activities revolve around conducting exhaustive research and executing strategic programs across key sectors, including power, transport, industrial, and finance.

2022年9月11日 · ESG for impact, which uses ESG data to make progress towards the SDGs, is the denotation most relevant for social impact professionals. ESG for Impact allows CSIs and related corporates to speak a common language, and set targets and KPIs.

Our approach to CSI is to systematically address job creation, enhance competitiveness and drive inclusive growth through Digital Skills for Digital Jobs. The Digital Skills for Digital Jobs programmatic approach, which informs the MTN Skills Academy, is anchored on multi-stakeholder partnerships with global and African-based organisations.

The Centre for Social Investment (CSI) is a research centre at the Max-Weber-Institute for Sociology in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of Heidelberg University. It sees itself as an interdisciplinary centre in research, education and training as well as a transdisciplinary partner for the third sector.

While our initiatives may certainly support and harmonize with all of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we are especially focused on SDG #3, #9, and #11. These goals are the pillars upon which we build transformative projects and initiatives, striving to make a tangible difference in the world.

2024年8月20日 · CSI is increasingly recognized as a powerful driver for achieving global sustainability targets, particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are 17 goals with 169 targets across economic, social, and environmental objectives, and many share similarities or a common goal with social investment.

This award recognizes our institution’s successful demonstration of best practices, policies, and a strong commitment to attaining SDG 7 and its related UN Sustainability Goals. The Best Practices adopted by our institution were presented during the 19.13-hour marathon conference, showcasing our dedication to sustainable energy solutions.
