Whether you want to advance in your current career, change careers or strike out on your own as an entrepreneur, an MBA gives you the tools to succeed. According to the Princeton Review, people with M.B.A.s earn twice as much as those with bachelor's degrees and considerably more than those with other master’s degrees.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an advanced degree in general business management. The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at CSUN offers a part-time MBA program for midcareer professionals who want to enhance their careers in business, switch careers or become entrepreneurs.

The CSUN Nazarian MBA program is a part-time evening program that caters to the working professional. Mid-career professionals can enroll up to 1-2 courses per semester and proceed at their own pace through the program. Students have up to seven years to complete the program.

CSUN MBA Program produces innovative leaders who apply knowledge and create strategies to manage dynamic environments, contributing sustainable value to their organization, industry, and community. Faculty expertise and student experience coalesce, integrating theory and experiential learning to benefit career networks and trajectories.

This application is where you will detail your work experience and the goals you wish to accomplish through pursuing the MBA program at CSUN (statement of purpose). Department Application fee is $30 which can be paid online.

After completing most of the required core courses (600-level), MBA students choose two electives (6 units) from varying elective options offered in traditional and innovative subject areas. Elective courses are offered in spring, summer, and fall.

The College offers three master’s degrees: the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) and the Master of Science in Taxation (MST). Its Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GCBA) is valued independently or as preparation for the CSUN Nazarian MBA.
